Warrior 2 Pose - improves balance, stamina, and focus
Yoga Warrior 2 pose, or Virabhadraasana 2, is a standing posture that helps to stretch and strengthen the legs, hips, and chest. To do the pose, stand with your feet hip-width apart and your arms stretched out to the side. Bend your right knee, keeping your thigh parallel to the floor, while your left leg remains straight. Reach your arms away from your body and make sure your shoulder blades are down your back. Hold the pose for 30 seconds to 1 minute and then switch legs. Warrior 2 pose increases strength and flexibility in the legs, helps to open the chest and shoulders, and can be energizing and calming at the same time.
