Tree Pose (Vrikshasana)
Yoga Tree Pose is a standing pose that strengthens the legs and core. It is performed by standing in Mountain Pose and then lifting one foot off the ground and resting the sole of the foot against the inner thigh of the standing leg. Make sure to keep your hips squared forward and the back straight. Place your hands up in prayer position and focus on a point in front of you to help keep your balance. The tree pose helps increase your focus and concentration, strengthens your legs, and stretches your inner thighs.
