Triangle Pose (Trikonasana)

Triangle pose is a standing posture that strengthens and stretches the legs, feet, hips, spine, and chest. It can be done by starting in a standing position with legs wide apart and feet parallel. Then, bring your right hand down to the floor next to your right foot and reach your left arm up to the sky, creating a triangle shape with your body. Keep your legs and feet grounded, chest lifted, and gaze up towards the top hand. Hold for at least five breaths and then switch sides. Benefits of this pose include strengthening the legs, improving balance, and stretching the hips and spine.
